One Year Anniversary

ben & i celebrated our year anniversary this weekend. there is no exact anniversary date so we produced one by adding and dividing some numbers based on the day rent was due. the fall colors were amazing so we bicycled in all the northern forest preserves- stumbling upon autumn horse shows, a historical site where a wooly mammoth died, and bogs. candace joined us sunday evening and we saw "bend it like beckham" at the dollar theater. i traveled up to campus columbus day where i dined with ben, chatted with emily and elizabeth, and saw author dave eggers speak about mark twain and his own writing. on the drive home i almost burst with a happiness so overwhelming that i can almost compare it to my first week at northwestern university. i have a vision for next year and it excites me very much.
