"im just so afraid of regressing," she told me over the phone a few months ago. "moving back in with my parents- i will have to just think of them as roommates now."
melissa arrived back in town saturday & i have welcomed her with an overabundance of phone calls this week. i am very excited to have my queenie living in a two mile radius from me again. last night i called her from the grocery store parking lot.
"my room is now green," she said with satisfaction. i joined her after filing fasfa forms and helped trim the ceiling with kermitty green paint. her mother promises me a vegetable dinner for my late night labor but i cannot even begin to tell her how excited i am to be with melissa again.
