Favorite Things

Loving in August:

1.) Throwing the windows open for 70-80 degree weather. Max's nose is permanently pressed to the screen to catch the fresh air. Looking for a cross breeze now.
2.) My laptop has a virus so rather that settling onto the couch to web browse, I have pulled out compilations of short stories and books instead.
3.) Anthropologie's Farmer's Market basket. We are on a money diet this month but I had to splurge on this. Just this!
4.) Yarnoff time (and Pat/Kelly time) before Ashley and Ben left for North Carolina: back porch sitting, beer brewing, and patio dining at little Southport bars.
5.) Anticipation of Ben's sour cherry beer brew... one week before full carbonation & brewed-ness.
6.) Speaking of beer and Kelly, Bockor Cuvèe des Jacobins Rouge: like a champaigne and pop in beer form. Mmmm
7.) A morning bicycle ride on the Green Bay trail with Stefanie. An afternoon California sushi to follow!
8.) Streaming Madmen on Netflix with Mr Benjamin. Can I get an amen for feminism!?! (Also a huge shout out for Ben who tolerated So You Think You Can Dance all summer. Go Sasha!)

Now for some inspiration to clean the house. Hmpf!
