Quiet

i havent had much to say lately- i think its because there has been a long laundry list of to-dos since last week. i am thankful to say that i can resume reading the pile of books i am eagerly eyeing every night before bed, adventuring, and maintaining some sort of focus on getting grips with change this week. i started my job last week (which included a shift in sleeping schedule, gaining a first grader's perspective, and TB tests) as well as built a business website for my dad, completed a midterm and case study in abnormal psychology, moved a friend's furniture out of her apartment in evanston, was reunited for an evening with an old highschool friend, threw a wedding shower, hosted a friend who had a wedding in my town, and tried to organize the house that is full of random things from my apartment. never again will i take on so many things in a time span of 6 days! to get away from it all- thankfully- ben and i are visiting lisa and marius in new york city this weekend for the fourth of july. granted it wont be a leisurely trip to the country or even the mountains, but it will be far far away for a few days with a very exciting couple and a very exciting city. hurrah!
