Millenial Cowboys & Sunsets

i am currently living a divided life because i am in transition. i just graduated and am in the am-i-going-to-graduate-school? or am-i-taking-a-year-off-to-work? phase of my twenty-something. in other words, i am broke and in limbo. i am living with my mom part time and apartment sitting for elizabeth in evanston the other part. i am between different genres of friends and weaving between friends, boyfriend, and family. i can tell you i prefer to be reading by the lake- maybe even reading aloud to someone who is willing to listen to me stutter and stumble over words while they read and answer riddles printed on popsicle sticks. i have a craving to listen to radio mystery shows in the dark and drive on 294 north with all the millenial cowboys. thursday night was so beautiful as i merged onto 88 after attending a national K-9 demonstration with my mom. there was the city skyline on the right and an amazing sunset on the left and i couldnt have been more excited about my journey to visit with my friend candace and then to sleep among nothing of my own with fresh paint on the bathroom ceiling.
