i have a new succulant in my life & i could not be any more excited about him. on the way home from the theatre yesterday we stopped at a new leaf & ben purchased a donkeytail cactus for me. i am naming it orestes after electricidad, the play we saw sunday afternoon based on a very old greek tradgedy. this succulant will come nowhere near replacing lenny, my first succulant that amy bought for me at a hortocultural sale several years ago at purdue. but i am very excited about my plants (plant stores are about as exciting for me as pet shops (but man was that angora rabbit magical!)) & orestes is currently watching dasha romping after squirells and chipmunks in the backyard. wow, i need to get out of here before i write anymore about my plant & possibly start rambling on about more inanimate objects... off to H&M with melissa!
