"Henry and I were so upset one January weekend when a snow storm swept across Minnesota. We had planned a gettaway weekend up in Duluth but because of the storm, all roads north were blocked with inches and inches of snow. So we wandered around uptown [Minneapolis] for a while and bumped into a couple we were friends with at the time. They too were upset because they were supposed to head to Duluth for the weekend. So we had dinner together and were incredibly grumpy.
"And I think people elsewhere think Minnesotans are crazy. And I think sometimes they might be right. Nowhere else in America do you find people in search of and looking forward to going even further north in the winter." -Judith
