ah, my last days at northwestern. it is finals week but i only have one presentation and one final on dostoyevsky. i am pretty fancy free (unlike last quarter's final week) so i have been gallavanting around with candace and ben. friday night ben and i joined jenny and her roomate kim in the making jenny's darbuka, an hourglass-shaped african drum. ben and i dined in chicago afterward and came home to watch the best lifetime movie i have yet to see... the perfect bride. yes, it is laugh out loud quality that i highly suggest. i spent sat with candace going to the farmer's market, nordstroms sales, target, lunch at las palmas, urban outfitters, apartment searching.... so basically we shopped all day... with no more than $1.50 in our pockets. and according to her away message, we are still shopping. the evening was finished with an oozing moultan pie.
